At first, it was the marble machine board: a 2′ by 4′ monolith that could be easily propped anywhere, and used by one or two participants to build fantastic marble runs using simple materials such as pieces of moulding, copper pipes, and dowels. |

Then we decided to go BIG and see what happened. Thus came to be the marble machine fort. Its awesome power took us clean through two Maker Faires, and was happily used (and abused) by hundreds of people. We could have stopped there… |
But we were not satisfied yet! So, for the next incarnation of marble machines, we are going even BIGGER… That’s why we’ve been working hard making more and more pegboard walls. Come to the next Open MAKE event to play with our biggest marble machine run yet!
