I came across this video about an installation created by Caitlind Brown for Calgary’s Nuit Blanche this year. I was instantly reminded of one of my favorite films in the Exploratorium’s 16mm collection called One Hundred Watts 120 Volts, by Carson Davidson. Both offer extraordinary glimpses of a rather ordinary object.
