Today was a big day for us tinkerers: both the Tinkering Studio and the Learning Studio, plus our storage space in the rotunda columns, were packed up and moved out, and they’re now waiting to be shipped over to Pier 15. This whole process has been alternately exciting and filled with nostalgia, but I think it’s safe to say that seeing a mostly empty Learning Studio today is what finally drove it home for most of us: this is happening!
But, on the positive side, the new Learning Studio and Tinkering Studio will be even more amazing than the old ones, so our sadness will be short lived. We’ll keep you updated as we can over the next few weeks, but things are a bit unsettled and precarious right now, so new posts might be a little sparse for a while.
